INTERIOR DESIGN IN East Grand Rapids

Designing in East Grand Rapids requires a specialized touch that honors the past while embracing the future. This community is defined by its stunning historical architecture—ranging from stately Tudors and Colonials near Reeds Lake to the charming homes of Gaslight Village. At Dwellings, we are experts at “Modern Classic” design, a philosophy that allows us to update the functionality of a historic kitchen or primary suite without stripping the soul and character from the home’s original architecture.

Led by Laura Davidson, our team brings 15+ years of experience to the unique challenges of EGR renovations. Older homes often require creative space planning to accommodate modern appliances, open-concept living, and increased storage. We pride ourselves on being excellent listeners, working closely with you to understand how you intend to use your space. We then collaborate with high-end local builders to ensure that every custom millwork detail, lighting fixture, and hardware choice feels like it has always belonged in the home. Whether you are embarking on a whole-house remodel or simply looking for custom furnishings to elevate your living room, we provide a seamless, professional experience.
