Saugatuck is world-renowned for its artistic spirit, stunning Lake Michigan dunes, and sophisticated coastal atmosphere. Designing in Saugatuck requires a deep appreciation for both history and high-end modern luxury. At Dwellings, we specialize in “Coastal Refinement,” creating homes that feel airy, artistic, and impeccably polished. Whether you own a historic cottage in the village or a modern masterpiece overlooking the Kalamazoo River, our team provides the boutique design experience you expect.

Led by Laura Davidson, our team has extensive experience in whole-house lakefront remodels and luxury renovations. We understand that Saugatuck residents value unique, “non-corporate” design. We pride ourselves on being excellent listeners, working with you to source one-of-a-kind art, custom furnishings, and high-quality materials that reflect the town’s creative energy. Our process is highly collaborative, involving detailed custom cabinetry drawings and finish consults that ensure every inch of your home is optimized for both beauty and entertaining.
